ABOUT ME

I'm Chris, a married father of two. Proudly a son of a retired carpet fitter, a brother of a floor layer, a grandson of a carpet fitter and Mr show room flooring! For as long as I can remember I was going out doing measures with my Dad, fitting flooring with my Brother and working in the family shop. Since serving my time as an apprentice over 17 years ago installing flooring has taken myself and my team all over the UK and northern Ireland with my work being a mixture of domestic, commercial and retail fit out work. All my experience has made me realise people simply want beautiful floors. My customers don't want to be paying towards hundreds of thousands of pounds of expensive retail overheads. What my domestic customers want is beautiful products, fitted in their own homes to the highest standard using the finest floor preparation products without paying any more than if they shopped elsewhere. My commercial and retail clients want is to be able to hand me over the specifications in confidence knowing that the job will always be handed back on time, on budget, to specification and installed to the highest standard ensuring that my clients can profit off my work every time. So to achieve this My solution was simple - scrap the shop. If it doesn't exist then nobody including you has to pay for it with the price added to every floor installed. It sounds radical but it makes perfect sense. When I was a little boy I used to go out until late at night with my Dad to 'help' with measures where we would bring sample books round to potential customers homes. In reality I did it so I could stay up late, my dad did it because he had to fit the measures around the shops opening hours and the customers wanted the home estimates because firstly a survey was essential to ensure the installation was carried out correctly and secondly the customers needed to be able to view the samples in their own homes to be sure of choosing the right product for the lighting and decor the flooring would be installed in making their room the show room. This upbringing is what made me believe that my approach is the way forward. I will bring my shop to you so you will never overpay and all installation work is either carried out by myself or by one of my qualified time served fitters working closely with me so you can always have total confidence in who will be installing your new flooring in your show room.
